I made this pond when I was 13 or 14 years old.  It's just a 100 gallon watering trough so it's not very big.  you can click on the small pictures if you want to see larger versions.

This is what the pond looks like in the winter.  The plants that you see are Anacharus (Elodea Canadensis).  The fishes are gold fishes.
