My name is Nathaniel Roland Stickley, AKA "Idius." I live in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia near the small town of Grottoes. I was born on the first day of February 1981. I recently graduated from James Madison University. I now have a Bachelor of Science degree in physics. Yay! I like dealing with abstract concepts, finding connections between seemingly unrelated phenomena, finding fundamental generalities, and 4-dimensional imaging. I enjoy Japanese art. I have a Japanese style garden with miniature landscape, miniature mountains, miniature trees (like bonsai, but not in containers), and water gardens, which serve as symbolic lakes and marshes in the miniature landscape. I like to build, upgrade, and repair PCs. I may be referred to as a "computer nerd." Like all good computer hobbyists, I won't touch America Online (except for AIM), I prefer AMD to Intel, I fuss about Microsoft operating systems, and I'm really looking forward to the day when Linux is a standard OS or Microsoft finally makes a nice OS (Windows XP Pro is fairly nice...but needs a lot of work). I am a graphical artist. My web page includes a few of my older drawings from middle school and high school there are also some old paintings and photographs. I am an Adobe Photoshop expert (I need to majorly update my web page sometime! Most of this page was done during my sophomore year of college). I am beginning to learn 3D Studio Max BUT I want to learn LightWave sometime.
I listen to and sing Country Music from the 1930's until the present and Rock 'n' Roll from the mid 50s until the mid 70s. That includes, but is not limited to
